August Fate Poem by Thomas Austin

August Fate

A night secured in August fate
Your face presents itself to me.
I'm sure that my heart did inflate
When my eyes stumbled onto thee.

I gaze into your light brown eyes
And wonder of their constant shine,
The glee I felt, I can't describe
When your eyes finally met mine.

I hope she looks at me the same
And wonders of my mystery.
And then, from there your smile became
Your most perfect accessory.
