Attentive To Life Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Watching, listening, being attentive to life and humanity
surrounding me right now, writing, listening to music and
thinking about life and it's experiences.

Memories coming out, showing events of the past, ones that
touch mind and heart, tugging at it's heartstrings, wishing
we could go back in time, knowing that's only a wish.

There's no way to accomplish this in life, just having to
relive each one through memories is the best way we have of
reaching into our past, recollecting times we would like to
have back now in the present.
