Attacking Your Home Poem by Randy McClave

Attacking Your Home

If they had attacked your home or your company
As they had attacked the Capital In Washington D.C,
Would you had stayed and fought
Or would you had let the attackers get what they had sought.
Would you had let them proudly sit in your chair
And take whatever they wanted without care,
Or would you had stood and defended, ready to fight
Defending what is yours which you knew was right.
Would you had pulled or used a weapon or a gun
Or from the attackers would you had just run,
Would you had allowed them to do whatever they wanted
And upon their violent act would had been undaunted.
Would you had stood and and screamed and protested
If your attackers were not ever arrested,
And if their bosses were not arrested or sent to jail
Would had given them all hell.
Would you had hurt an attacker
Who had entered into your home as a raider and a sacker,
And if they had refused to leave
Would you had given them the heave.
Tell me what would you think and what would you do
If that atrocity had happened unto you,
If someone had attacked your home or company
As they had attacked the Capital in Washington D.C.
