Atonement Poem by Christian Hudak

Atonement

Rating: 5.0

You used to mean the world to me
Now, I fail to hold your image in memory
Some time ago I would yearn for your presence
These days, I do not mind your absence
Slowly, memories are fading from thought
and your atonement, finally unsought
To savor any relation, you should make new moments shared
Rather than abandoning us, and living in despair
