Out Of Space, Out Of Time Poem by Christian Hudak

Out Of Space, Out Of Time

Rating: 4.5

For I am not lost
I have been here before
Adrift in the darkest void
A somber vacuum will enrich all
Between each life, you have one aim
Ferry light with you

Voyaging amid an aging macrocosm
Will indeed trial your courage
Wrapped in a blanket of frigid shadows
The roar of absolute zero thunders all over
Echoes resonate, off what? Off where?

The feeling evoked is out of space and out of time. In starkness I am comforted by *Ferry light with you*... The shifting pronouns (from I to You) could be resolved by converting them all to We / Us - more collective, and consistent. I love this poem.
