Ashes Of Love Poem by Christine Figueras Weiss

Ashes Of Love

Rating: 5.0

Silk rose
aflame, on fire.
Destined to burn
as an intimate
hidden desire.
Ashes blowing
in the cold hearted wind.
Never to be seen
or looked upon again.
A passionate love
disappearing in time.
As though an illusion
upon one's mind.
Scorched forever
by the burning flame.
With everything to lose
and nothing to gain.

Desires and passionate love disappearing in time. When giving our hearts, we risk losing everything we had hoped for and have nothing to gain. So very true this message of yours. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
