As I Slowly Disappear Poem by Marcus McKinley

As I Slowly Disappear

Hands raised, crazed with love in my heart
Eyes glazed in rage, muttering poesies
Do I really know how you feel, IMPOSSIBLE!
Biting my lip each time I give you a kiss
Enjoying the consonance drawn between breath

How do I deal with your licentiousness
As your voice tolls dissonantly in my ear
Making disponible these thoughts in my mind
Clawing skin tearing flesh from bone

Seeking exits I have yet to find
But this will only strengthen my resolve
Driving me closer to the doorstep of death

Trying to remove the virulence of love
When it is done there will be nothing left

And, nothing more for you to hold onto
