Artful Ocean Poem by Lilac Time
Artful Ocean
A brave blue curtain of water
A rhythmic ripple of waves
Casting spiraling conch shells
Beneath the beams of luna
A million gold tokens
For a single mirage
A breath of moonshine
Blinds the eyes
Burns the way
The current as your carriage
Pelting rain maps out a melody
The stars fall and turn to fish
Each one becoming a new wish
