Are You A Mary Or A Martha? Poem by Denis Martindale

When Jesus comes and says, Hello, can you spare Him some time,
As if this was your chance to grow, that could become sublime?

Or do your quickly carry on, regardless of the Lord,
Until the Savior's love has gone and Christ has been ignored?

Did you sit still and hear Him speak, take in His peace and love,
Did you see Jesus as unique, with grace that proves enough?

Did you work here, did you work there, around but not so close?
Christ wants to make this one thing clear, He knows, He knows, He knows!

The Gospel poem was shared by presenter Nikki Mills
on Revelation TV on the R-Mornings TV after she
told viewers of her upcoming God Day show about two
sisters who were divided on how they met Jesus and
what they should be doing then. It is shown that Mary's
devotion to Jesus was pleasing to Him at that time.

Presenter Nikki Mills' God Day show will ask the viewers,
Are You A Mary Or A Martha? So I quickly wrote the
poem and emailed it to the studio for her to read it on
the R-Mornings TV show before it finished...
