Are We Dating Poem by Randy McClave

Are We Dating

Are we dating
Or are we just having sex,
Are you just waiting
Until I am another ex.
You don't tell others who I am
In public you never hold my arm,
But, then I think what the damn
You're in my bed awaken by the alarm.
You enjoy buying sexy lingerie
And you like to wear them for me,
You say that you will not ever stray
But, that I can't see.
We have sex about every night
And we never leave my house,
And we never argue or fight
Maybe it's because you're not my spouse.
You tell me that we are a couple
And that will be our own little secret,
We both are very supple
Especially when we sweat.
You told me that you are devoted
And you told me that you will never roam,
Those words I have continually noted
As I'm not allowed to go to your home.
I have never met any of your pals
But, you were introduced to all of mine,
Maybe they know you by your morals
But, maybe that was just a another line.
I can't take pics of us together
And I can't tell anyone about you and I,
In my house you are my lover
And outside my house I'm just another guy.
I don't think that we are dating
I think that soon another man will be the next,
Though it's kind of sad and frustrating
All that we are, is just having sex.
