Apathy Poem by Thomas Ware

Apathy

I feel like a wanderer on forgotten seas,
Grey and cloudy skies, dull storms, just let me be,
Please.
I just want to sit, and lie still.
I don't want comfort, to be healed.
Just sleep, just sit here,
Just fade
Away
To watch the world sink into
Grey.
You think this laze is a bad thing,
An illness to be cured, a sad ring,
It's a form of rest,
A healing spell,
A recuperation from the depths of hell.
