Another Year Is Saying Goodbye Poem by Hebert Logerie

Another Year Is Saying Goodbye

Rating: 5.0

In spite of last year’s ups and downs,
Life was beautiful and rewarding.
We played in the park and chased the clowns.
No one got hurt, and with the Good Lord’s blessing,
We are confident that next year will be better.
We have lost a few good friends who were very sick.
We hope to see less violence, where our people pick
And choose LOVE over hate. May our universe be less bitter!
May our world be a better and safer place to enjoy,
And cherish life! A gun is a deadly weapon, not a toy.
A toy normally brings a lot of joys to our children.
May slavery, racism and Apartheid end in our haven!

Another year is departing, everybody seems to be happy.
Another year is singing au revoir, goodbye, arrivederci.
We are wishing everyone: good health, success and prosperity.
Let’s count our blessings and celebrate all year long.
Let’s ring the bells, play the guitar and write a new song.
Let’s sing in unison, work, and live like good brothers
And sisters. Let’s chase the bad luck and the disasters.
May slavery, racism and Apartheid end in our haven!
May our world be a better and safer place to enjoy!
Let’s cherish life. A gun is a deadly weapon, not a toy.
A toy normally brings a lot of joys to our children,
Not death. Let’s be civilized. May our world be less bitter!
With the Almighty God’s blessing, next year will be better.
