Another Friend Is Gone - Poem by Shalom Freedman

Another friend is gone
It’s two in a little more than a month
Two people who it was a special pleasure to talk with-

My world grows smaller
And more lonely-

I pray for them there
But I would speak with them here-

And never will again.
