Anorexic Poem by Katniss Everdeen

Dear Diary,

So, there's this guy
His name, I can not tell
We are close, oh so close
But he puts me through hell

We have a few problems
He has this girlfriend, see?
They are real close too
And she hates me.

I hate her too though
Cause of one thing she said
All she said was that one thing,
But soon, he will be dead

I really don't like this girl
His thoughts, she made sick
All she said was that one thing
And now, he's anorexic

I have tried to help him
I have cried over him at night
But he refuses to listen to me,
Wont go down without a fight

He doesn't care
How much I cry over him
All he cares about now
Is being really thin

Can he not tell,
How much this hurts me?
I'd give everything to see him okay,
For him to listen to my plea

When we cuddle up
In front of a good ol' flick
I can feel his ribs, his bones
All because he is anorexic

Oh, and that one thing
That she said, in her voice so flat?
I can't be seen with you
Cause your ever so fat
