Anomaly Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Anomaly

I knew
I were strange
I also knew
Could not change

Like an island
That has drifted away
I always knew
Had roles to play

Not my kind
Anywhere around
Just deep oceans
That surely surround

No one knows
What I speak
So now I don't
Even try to creek

A wild flower
Or Back water sand
I want no companion
To hold my hand

Isolated
And Fancy free
I always knew
Will be a
lone tree

All by myself
The last drop
Of tear
Everything lost
So what
Do I fear

Trying
Hard to find
My sanity
And my self

Sadness of
My core
Is the only
Wealth I have
Nalini
