Animals Poem by Neela Nath Das

Animals

Rating: 4.5

Their eyes turn tender,
They forget roaring or howling.
Licking each other they show love.
They know foreplay also.
There is love, intensity of feeling
When they make love with each other,
Sex is not only the sudden rise
Of evil power to them.
They are more human than humans.
I'm talking about the animals.

Couldn't agree more! Humans could learn so much about life and love by following the examples of our animal friends. Beautiful poem.

Lovely poem, lovely sentiments. Most animals are innocence and love. So well brought out here by the poet,
