Angry, Vengeful Woman Poem by Katherine H. Belle

Angry, Vengeful Woman

Rating: 5.0

How can I question
That which had kept me sane for so long?
The words by which I had found my calm
now render storms within my being.
Threatening to tear the very seams
Of my soul and sanity apart.
I still hold onto my hope
But it has no real meaning.
And like a ship
Sailing on the turbulent seas
My clarity teeters
Above the crests of each new wave
Threatening to topple
Into angry waters
But you can't stop her
No, you can't stop an
Angry vengeful woman.
