Angkor's Fall

Rating: 5.0

To mass kill
is to massacre,
so to the mind,
mine at least,
to acre is to kill.

Never having stooped
to massacre anything but insects,
it was insects received my respect,
the more larger creatures
being mass acred world-wide
pressed on my mind.

Insects chomping through crops,
not being acred because of pressure on minds
could have brought civilizations to the wall -
caused Angkor's fall.

Insects chomping through crops deserve to be massacred. It's us or them!

Insects chomping through crops provoke thought because of pressure. A thought provoking and amazing poem is very well penned.10
