Angel Rain Poem by Joshwin Artedes

The day is dark and cloudy
for raindrops are falling
A bad day approaches
For a stormy night is coming

And I seek a place
where there could be enough shelter
To Protect me
from the cruel sound of thunder

As lightning strikes vividly
my heart trembles in fright
In every dropp of rain
the eyes feels heavy and loose sight

The faster I run
the harder my legs move in mud
A shout for help and none can hear
and that makes it sad

Heaven heard my cry
as it send a very strong sign
As this body hits the ground
An angel in the rain came upon

Spreading its wing
to save me from cunning harm
Each feathers hugs tightly
to keep me safe and warm

Then love rises
in this dreadful and scary night
A birth of hope
for a warrior who loose his might

The eyes tells
to fear nothing and just smile
that every tears that come
a priceless joy will shine

Its finger point in the sky
showing the bright life
It gives thy strength
and encourage to stand up and fight

This journey will not end defeat
The angel rain reminds
And that Victory awaits
Behind those intractable light
