An Old Woman At The Window Poem by Robin Fulton

An Old Woman At The Window

The thunder has lost its memory
but it goes on mumbling,
fish in their element
leap, an alien light.
Heavy raindrops echo
in a deep well.
Cover the mirror and sit back
and watch.
