An Asymmetrical War Poem by Paul Hartal

An Asymmetrical War

One cloudy day
the snail became very angry
with the bull.
'You have no right to do this',
he said.

'Oh, I am a bull
and I have the right
to bully you'.

'But I warn you,
that just like you,
I also have horns',
said the snail.

It did not take long,
and against his wife's advice,
the snail declared war
on the bull.

The United Nations
also expressed concern
over the conflict.

Then the experts
analyzed the situation
and concluded
that the opponents fight
in an asymmetrical war.
