It's a race for perfection
a chance for a smile
when you look my way
you make each day worth while

I was running in circles
before you came
I feel like now that you're here
things will never be the same

They get better and better
as days go by
when you kissed my lips
I felt like I could fly

You've given me the strength
to open my heart
to the one who deserves it
and won't tear it apart

I put my trust in you
I know that I won't be alone
and since the day I met you
my feelings have grown

I know some people disagree
with my feelings for you
but my best friend backed me up
with what I want to do

I really do like you
your hair, your smile, your eyes
you truly are an angel
above all other guys
