Amusement Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Amusement

Amusement

Wish sweat was of work
Or from some sport
Or helping and loading
Others' pain on myself…

But is not!

Hate myself,
Am useless!

Curfew-ed
In a room…

Hate myself
Am useless!

"Hey get up,
Go outside,
Give a hand,
Help someone,
Enough is complaint; "
Tell myself…

I am barred:
"With your age
Keep distance! "
I am told.

Hate myself
Am useless!

Instead have gathered
Papers and documents
Of ending the Air Force
Memories of the past
On the run to be safe
Via seas and deserts,
On mountains or in jails.

If rightly, filmed, written
My pains make "Amusement! "
