Amidst The Sorrow Poem by Sahil Mamtani

Amidst The Sorrow

In a midst of a havoc,
A sound was heard,
So different from the others,
As good as whispers,
And then it exploded,
A fate so cold,
Abated all the bold,
Carried away,
Amidst the fog,
A storm would come,
As the clouds brew,
So dark they grew,
The tears of nature,
So loudly heard,
As they burst aloud,
The lightning came,
In a flash of a second,
The silence was torn,
The traffic in the streets,
Gave rise to the heat,
A terror of gloom,
Was seeping through,
In a moment's surprise,
All was lost,
The honor of the family,
Thrown in the streets,
Spread of word read in tweets,
Amidst the pain,
A thorough search,
For the truth of dearth,
A soil so valuable,
Yet not so satuable,
As the rain will sway,
And the pain will lay,
A sorrow so short,
That tomorrow none would know!
