Sahil Mamtani Poems

Water, water, and water
The most purest sign of virtue,
How wonderfully nature has indebted us with this gift,
An offer that none can resist
...

Within the spirit,
A cry was heard,
From the shores of the bloody beaches,
It whispered amongst the isles of men,
...

Drifting through the air,
She stood up for the dare,
Quietly sweeping the ground,
With a small little frown,
...

In a midst of a havoc,
A sound was heard,
So different from the others,
As good as whispers,
...

Walking through the darkness,
Wonder where the road ends!
My foot slowly lifted above the ground,
Gently going about,
...

As the winds blow toward you,
Do you ever notice the change in seasons,
Do you ever notice a dropp of rain that falls on your skin,
And then as it pours,
...

In a jist of a second,
I had the fist of a boss,
I stepped over men,
Dead and alive,
...

A rose for my love,
A rose with my love,
My intentions were clear,
Her heart was near,
...

The green paper that perished the world,
The buildings that rose above the rot,
The shackles that were built beneath,
The traditions that were followed for ages,
...

Sufferings were heard,
over a battlefield of death,
the filth that they slept in,
the dirt that they were trenched in,
...

Knowing never to come back,
I turned my back,
To the house I stacked,
One brick at a time,
...

Tangled I was,
Confused I was,
In a web of dreams,
Dreamt of a world,
...

The rain fell dropp by drop,
Hitting the ground,
splashing all around,
In the month of June,
...

Slowly through the forest,
As he ventured deeper,
He noticed the change from the mellow grass to the long trees with the everlasting fragrance,
As he got more closer to the core,
...

I heard the shots of lead,
In the summer of death,
As the smokes moved out from the barrel of gun,
Wonder if it weren't too late,
...

It was midnight,
she was the terror,
I was the future,
fishes in the night,
...

It takes a moment to kill,
feeling for nothing,
feeling for none,
life does give no more a second,
...

Water: The Gift From Nature!

Water, water, and water
The most purest sign of virtue,
How wonderfully nature has indebted us with this gift,
An offer that none can resist
Oh water, water, water
Comes in all forms of states
Solid, liquid, and gas...
Packaged in all forms of life,
That subtle taste that we cannot taste,
That deep fragrance that we cannot smell,
As it falls onto your smooth skin and romances around your body,
That reassurance in the body which rests the mind,
That horrific depression if suppressed from,
Energy replenished, mixed in all sorts, organic and inorganic, for it were not for thy water, how could you fabrish the presence of life?
