America - The Holy Empire Poem by Randy McClave

America - The Holy Empire

Overspending and a constant war,
Inflation widened the gap between the rich and the poor.
Fallen infrastructure and then military overspending,
Upon slaves and cheap labor they were depending.

Widespread corruption and incompetence and greed,
Politicians didn't care who they used or did bleed.
The country was controlled by lies and by a whip,
Citizens lost trust in their countries leadership.

I look at America as though I am a buyer,
Then I think of the fall of the holy Roman empire.
