America Is The Land Of The Free Poem by Juan Olivarez

America is the land of the free,
No matter what cynical outsiders say.
There is not one other country,
Where you are free to express yourself,
Like in America, The land of the free.
Maybe we do put criminals,
Behind bars.
But thats only,
Because they are criminals.
Yes we delight in convictions,
Especially when they are,
Convictions for brutal rape and murder,
Against innocent children.
You talk about good health care,
America had the best health care system,
In the world,
Until Obama and his criminal elite,
Got a hold of it.
You talk about liquor stores,
Selling booze to young ones,
I know that happens,
But it is the exception, not the rule.
And it also happens in your country
You talk about guns sold to children.
Those are guns obtained in crimes,
Against law abiding citizens.
Now the Obama government,
Wants to take guns away from it's citizens.
Who will have guns then?
Only the criminals.
Because?
They don't buy them in gun shops,
Like good citizens do.
No matter what beef you have against America,
Our country is the best in the world.
The problem with us is,
We never hide our problems,
Like totalitarian governments.
People are coming here because it's so bad.
To America, The land of the free.
Thats right, the ONLY land of the free.
