Ambivalence is saying 'No'
But all the time meaning a 'Yes'
A play of masks begins to show
An absence of pure Genuineness.
Ambivalence seeks to please
By never making a stand,
It dwells in Neutrality's ease
Its choices hard to understand.
A pendulum of I-don't-know,
A sway of thoughts prevailing,
Accepting every concept so
It thrives on people-pleasing.
Ambivalence has payments too,
For in the end there is Life's scale.
We will be weighed by what is true
And Ambivalence, in eternity fails.
