Am I a mistake?
For being here

Am I a mistake?
For the way I look

Am I a mistake?
For the things I do

Am I really a mistake?

I didn’t choose the way I am
I didn’t choose the place I am
Neither did I choose my race,
My country or my age

Am I still a mistake?

I am not a mistake
By what I am or where I am

I am a mistake
When I choose not to do
What I could do
Or try to do what I should do
Or make the best of what I am

I am not a mistake!
Because there’s some thing God needs done
That requires my existence.

AM I STILL A MISTAKE?
