Always Tomorrow Poem by Marilyn Lott

Always Tomorrow

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes we think tomorrow
Will be no better than today
Bogged down in so many worries
It’s more than we can say

We’re not happy with anything
That we do or folks we know
We feel that no one seems to care
We feel we’ve hit a newfound low

Family members are too busy
In their own trials and tribulations
They rarely call us on the phone
Always have some stipulations

But we really must forgive them
We don’t know just what they face
For they may battle their own demons
We all do many things in haste

We must not look for happiness
Inside someone other than us
And tomorrow is a brand new day
For ourselves we can make a fuss

So when nothing seems worth living
When we are drenched in deep sorrow
Look forward to a brand new day
Because there is always tomorrow

It's so true, always assume things will be different tomorrow. Nicely written.
