Always Thinking Of You
I'll always think of you…when I smell menudo
It reminds me of how you loved cooking it for Christmas.
I'll always think of you…when I smell cookies
I know how you loved baking them for gifts
I'll always think of you…when I hear oldies
I can remember how you'd sing along and dance
I'll always think of you…when I hear someone laugh
You were always the jokester everywhere you went
I'll always think of you…when I see high socks
For some reason you loved them
I'll always think of you…when I pass by Christmas tree lots
Cause you worked with one of your friends at his for many years
I'll always think of you…when I'm going through something in life
Because you were the one to help me figure things out
I'll always think of you…when I hear Mariah Carey's Hero
Because that's what they played at your funeral
I'll always think of you…at the most panicle times in my life, like my wedding
Because you're not there to experience them with me
But I'll always think of you…
Every time I look in the mirror
Look at my Nina, your twin
See a white Cadillac go by
Because you're my father…I miss you and love you so much
