Always A Reserve Poem by Jo Lee

Always A Reserve

I hate my weakness
I hate how your uniqueness,
spellbound my heart into this cage
from which I can not escape.

From this mess, I try i make my way
out of the darkness, into the day.
But I'm lost and she doesn't care
cause we're through, I just made that clear.

At times I regret my decision
the right thing to do has put me in this position.
I can't think clearly with my thoughts in motion
I'm poisoned by my own devotion
to a girl whose love from me rejected,
nevertheless, just as expected

I can't fall for a girl who doesn't deserve
my love, my passion
Cause in my eyes, I'll always be her reserve
