So hurriedly I walked along the 'shore'
embracing the sheer bliss of 'home'
wondering over the years gone by
if you stayed the same..i wondered
yet hoping you remained unaffected

I recognised the 'footsteps'
I remembered the joys of what was
so hurriedly I rushed to the shore
and there you were...little changed
the truth that what was... is still IS!

In the twilight of time..
We all would wish to walk along that'shore'
Enviably you and I did now..and we understood
Life simplest gesture of kindness, love and regard
Is a great joy now and the years to come...
