It was so beautiful that we have found each other again. I have had many friends but nobody like you whom I trusted fully. You were one of the people I kept close to my heart whom I believed that I will meet again..and here you are my best friend! At first, when I got in touch and you did not acknowledge me, I thought you have forgotten me or you did not want my friendship anymore.However, when I read you message I cried as if I had one of my most treasured possessions which has been taken from me for a long time been returned to me in mint condition, like the times of our youth.

Sometimes I feel nostalgic and I reminisce the past and you are always included in those memories. We had very little then but we were happy and content...so rich in friendship and love for each other - we were a force to be reckoned with...I love those good old days and I pray that we will be together again and share old age together like our young days! I love to see you one day...where we can both have a good laugh...

in owning it

Yesterday walking through the woods
I saw a bend but not beyond
resolute..I carried on
my will was strong..my head's clear
...

I had fallen into a cold deep well
seemingly no one heard the echo of my voice
but you were there
you whispered
...

sometimes the slop is slippery and we slide
and get wounded yet we help ourselves
we get up and walk and lick our wounds
what faced us might be uncertain and we rally on!
...

I am taking heed..watch me!
life is no longer a speedway
I am using the by- roads
to savour the beautiful sights
...

So hurriedly I walked along the 'shore'
embracing the sheer bliss of 'home'
wondering over the years gone by
if you stayed the same..i wondered
