All These Ironies And Inner Pains Poem by Shalom Freedman

All These Ironies And Inner Pains

ALL THESE IRONIES AND INNER PAINS

All these ironies and inner pains-
All these sad reflections-
The endless inner contradictions-
All this joy that suddenly comes
To save the morning light-
All this life which means so much
And means it seems nothing in the end-
All these longings and meanings
I bear with me each day-
And write in little lines
Which God I pray
Will never cast away
But rather reread to no end of Time
Oh Life Oh Light oh Poet’s dream Sublime.
