All Genres Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

All Genres

All genres

I sure would, if I could, day and night dig in deep.
Look in mouths, rows of teeth, gums and jaws.
Are you not surprised, I, doubtless, mesmerized
See these miracles as parts of what is around.
We have such treasures and still stupid, are blind.

We see things as if live is the winds from behind.

I see him, he is young; he, part of the mankind
“For how long, some thousands? ” science says.

The honest answer is:
WE DON’T KNOW.
WE DON’T KNOW.
WE DON’T KNOW.

This is why,
Amused and surprised
Mesmerized feel drunk
Confused, I am dizzy
Vertigo cannot climb
I am lost.
No, no, no
No fooling
Neither “God’ nor “No God”.

Let me sit and observe
As we read in Khayyam:
Let’s have now for the now
Let me take and fold facts
Make fictions, fictionalize
Let me sit in nature every-day
Days and nights
And observe, totally out of world
Love be lost, mesmerized

Let me say: “Leave genres in the hell.”
Who the hell, what the hell are words of:
“The canon, canonize”?
