Ageless Friend Poem by Missy Lynn

Ageless Friend

Rating: 3.0

The forlorn meant of age
Wisping time flies by
Locked steel cages
We wait, patiently, but why?

Years go past
Forty, ninety, one oh five
It goes real fast
Your life show is live

Hopes have been dashed
Dreams scattered
Moments pass FLASH!
We ponder, does it matter?

But we can count on he
Who pulls us through all
He opens our eyes him to see
He holds us up so, stand tall

He holds time In his palm
And the world that knows no end
He leads to the waters calm
He is our ageless friend
