All I Ever Need, My Nana Poem by Missy Lynn

All I Ever Need, My Nana

Rating: 2.5

My grandmother is here with me
She serves my cup of tea
And loves me more, as her sweet pea
My grandmother is here right now
Raising a chary eyebrow
And willing to favor with her know-how
My grandmother is here reading while I play
She listens to me tell all about my day
And help to lead me when I pray
My grandmother is here fake flowers in toe
She is here with tales of woe
And to tell me yes and no
My grandmother is here taking sugar packets
She always buys my winter jackets
And tells me to ‘stop that racket’
My grandmother has expired
But I am mot satired
For her spirit is with me
Always
