Against A Stone Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Against A Stone

Illegal lust,
To hit your foot against the stone;
In searching for a lady you do not know.

Social cohesion!
Running along side each other;
But, the law is laid down bare before you.

Life!
Between light and darkness;
But, on the place of love with the muse of the truth.

The truth!
Do not hide yourself from the one you care for;
Because, you are now greedy from your acts, in search of this lady who just came into the town.
