After The Rain Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

After The Rain

Rating: 4.9

After the rain is gone, the sunshine hits my eyes
And I can see clearly of what you are
You were lurking in the shadows
And I was blinded by the raindrops
Until the sun came out to play
The solitude of disbelief was growing my madness
As I withdrew from the crowd
My eyes swelled up red
But now, I will conquer you now
I have the strength

After the rain... sometimes comes the pain, as we clearly see what was never meant to be. Very nice, LeeAnn!
