African City Poem by anju addanki

African City

Rating: 4.5

With Alien status,
And alien life;
I live in a city:
Which I pity,
People who are rough,
and always tough;
Those big lanes:
gives me pains,
Where there are no one to walk;
and no one to talk:
With no sleep;
only fear creeps,
But all my life;
I know;
I have to live:
In this AFRICAN CITY!

Anju you don't sound happy mind you living in a new country is not easy - I lived in India for over a year and missed Australia a lot.

Life always changes...may be you will be somewhere else soon. I changed a lot of people, places and in person.Thats what the law of life should be.Otherwise it is black and white.Let that be history. Change yourself and everything will change.
