Africa Poem by Angelic Takudzwa

Africa

Africa
Continent carved out of glory
Enriched with fertile soils
Decked with bronze embedded with gold
Crowned with ivory
The green pastured land, the honey flowing land.

The cradle civilisation took the first stand
The land of bounteous harvest where the rain falls
And the sunshine protect what we sow
The land rich with culture and tradition.

A relief for hospitality, a land of harmony and peace
The land with people of diverse culture yet one.
