Addiction Poem by Asha Roberts

Addiction

I would do anything to see that smile
Lips slowly parting
your light dark eyes shimmering
Blasting me into snother universe
Somewhere mysterious, dark, yet safe
my heart starts to flutter
and my eyes open wide
gathering all I can
I don't want it to go away
My beautiful opiate
I want more and more
don't ever leave
so hopelessly addicted
