Acts Of Another Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Acts Of Another

For one
to write not of
that which is seen,
for one
to transpose not of
one's deepest feelings,
for one
to interpret not of
their unconscious
mind's hearing,
to accept and retain
some insight,
into the consequences
of interpersonal actions...
Write not
of what is loving,
caring, or kind,
omit all you notice,
all that is
input through time.
The actions,
of one's immediate concern,
are those that you must do,
if not your soul burns.
These yearnings,
these notions,
oft not thought out or of,
come to you, and through you
as if from above,
you understand not,
which affects your heart this way,
and every moment
in quiet considerations,
causes you pain.
These actions of must,
many causing great change,
are acts of another,
not one with this realm.

if not your soul burns. These yearnings, these notions, oft not thought out or of, come to you, ......... Truth. High truth perhaps!
