A Woman With A Gun Poem by Randy McClave

A Woman With A Gun

I won't date a woman who owns a gun
Because, it shows me that she doesn't trust anyone,
Or maybe it's because she is always attracted to losers
And then they all end up being her abusers.
I won't date a woman who owns a gun,
If I see her, I will just turnaround and run.

I won't date any woman who doesn't care to take a life
Either with a gun or with a knife,
A woman who was taught how to shoot and kill
Either for adventure or redemption or for the thrill.
That type of woman I will definitely stay away from,
You will never where or why the bullet did come.

I won't date a woman who owns a gun or can shoot
I'd rather date a woman who knows how to give the boot,
A woman who knows not to keep seeing the wrong man
And not believing that she can fix a looser as soon as she can.
I won't date a woman who can shoot,
I'd rather date a woman who can turn about and scoot.

I won't date a woman anything like that
Where every moment she believes that she is under attack,
Where her every date has their name on a shot
And maybe their life by her will soon be sought.
I'd rather see her holding books as a happy eyeful,
Than seeing her carrying a handgun and bullets and/ or a rifle.
