A Wish
We must grow up
But not so much
That when we look back
We are not able to see
What stands below
Where we began
And the child in us
Is crushed
By the weight of our size.
well written....Often we grow up and forget our roots. Very nicely written.
This is highly philosophical. We grow up forgetting our humble beginning. This is the dilema of man. May God help us not to forget our past. Thanks fr this thought provoking poem
