You still love me, even with all the wrong I have done
I will be true to you, I believe our love is true
You always see the best of me
It is not you that makes my heart so blue
You have always made me feel free
You have never once had the urge to flee
Never have you thought I am so damaged unable to be repaired
My dear, you are my greatest need
When my body is here
And my mind is elsewhere
You, my husband, you do not fear
You simply however just love me
When I have caused you so many tears
Throughout these years
Even when I left, and sent your world crashing
As I am those harsh waves, you take my hard blows
You still stay strong
My dear, you are my rock
My strong hold, you never fold
Against my sorrow, when I have pushed you away
You did not run, you simply stayed
Your persistence keeps me going
When I feel I am failing
You send my sailing
You, my dear, will always be my hope
When I feel I am stuck in the mud of life
Your the one on the other side
With the rope
Pulling me back and into your arms
Securely holding me
But never holding me back
