Amid perked up flowers
earth beguiles in her best
bathed in a smile
with frills of joy,
hopes spring high.
Seeing their delight
the moon peeps out,
hides herself for a while
quite woman-like
behind the wings of clouds,
then shyly fades away
along with blinking stars,
as white doves
let free to the sky
from the dark cages of night
taking their flight
slowly fading from sight
to announce the birth of day.
Under the blue canopy
lighted up in milky white,
birds float freely
to grab orange sunrays,
dust merges unseen
with whispers of rising winds
that goes up and up,
bees after a bountiful feast
sleep in dreaming flowers,
all in pairs.
Spring arrives
with a bunch of dreams
to gild the earth
in hues of heaven
and enthrone his beloved
in their annual fete.
A visual charming piece of verse portraying silent transitions.

A delightful write on the slow descent of the morning and the arrival of spring! A very soothing and picturesque description!
