What else do you want to call me.
What else have you got to say.
Im not backing down.
Im not running away.

Words can be weapons.
If thrown like blades.
They can pierce the heart.
Without any aid.

No one knows the effects.
Words can wield.
Ignorance is bliss.
Believe is the shield.

Words have the power.
To defeat the strong.
Break down the bravest.
When used for wrong.

A girl commits suicide.
Because of a name.
She wont get justice.
For the price she paid.

The bully who spoke.
And drove her to death.
Wont go to jail.
Or live in regret.

Does that seem fair?
Does that seem right?
A girl so sweet.
Gone in the night.

There is no charge.
For words used for wrong.
The person wont pay.
For the life that is gone.

The person wont care.
The family will cry.
They'll blame themselves.
And wonder why.

Why their daughter.
Had to commit suiside.
Why she isnt breathing.
Why she had to die.

A conversation wielded for hurt.
A message sent for pain.
A weapon of the tounge.
But who will ever gain?

Stick and stones thats what they say.
You'll lie and tell them its all okey.
They'll break your bones you'll recite the lines.
Maybe it wont be so bad this time.
Because with your shirt and faded ripped jeans.
You'll say to yourself names will never hurt me

But thats just a lie
