A Wanderer’s Story Six (Rigaudon Gala) Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

A Wanderer’s Story Six (Rigaudon Gala)

Rating: 5.0

(dedicated to Ms. Putri Narita Pangestuti, a poet friend at poemhunter)

when the tide rises
the mysterious islands
are separated by water
why my heart miss you?

I happily offer up
all that I am and have
to believe innocent eyes
my bond with you is forever

the powerful proof that flows
strongly within our blood
our will to live together
shall always be there
